PROJECT: _The Photographer’s Guide to Retouching_

Photoshop has over 70 adjustment layers that can be used on the same image and can be combined to create an image look (see Figure 10-1). Adobe offers an extensive guide for retouching and offers a great beginners tutorial on the subject.

**Figure 10-1** Adjustment layers and blending modes allow the photographer to fine-tune an image until it is just right.

Adobe Photoshop 2020 With Product Key

This guide covers a lot of ground. You might want to check out our short beginner Photoshop guide and our Photoshop tips too.

Before you get started

You should have a computer that meets the minimum requirements listed here.

You need a photo editing program that works with Photoshop. Elements is just one option. Adobe Illustrator works as well. If you already have a photo editing program you can use that instead.

If you are installing Photoshop Elements for the first time, download the 1.0.7 installer from here. If you are upgrading to Elements from CS3, you need to install the latest version.

Getting started with Elements

Open Photoshop Elements.

If you don’t already have an Adobe ID you need to sign up for one.

Browse to File -> New or press Alt + N.

Type an appropriate file name in the File name field and press enter.

Click the triangle next to the New button and select Open.

If you are not signed in to a Creative Cloud account, you will see a message at the bottom of the screen saying: “License required but your membership is not currently activated”.

Click OK.

You will be asked to give permission to install. Click Install.

You will be asked to sign in to your Creative Cloud account. If you aren’t already signed in, you will be prompted to sign in.

After you’ve signed in, you will see the Get Started screen.

Activating your Creative Cloud subscription is very important. You can’t do much with Elements without being signed in to the Creative Cloud. You don’t need a year to qualify for free upgrades. You can upgrade while using the software or you can activate your subscription in the sign-in screen. The sooner you get Creative Cloud, the better.

Go to the Store icon in the Creative Cloud desktop application. (Type Store in the search box in the top left corner and press enter. If you are on mobile, you can tap the arrow to the right of the search box to get there.)

The Store page will open up.

Scroll down to Elements and tap Download and install Photoshop Elements 12 here:

Activation and installation are the only actions you need to perform.

After the software is installed, you will be taken to the Welcome screen.

On the Welcome screen, you will see a link to Learn more about Photoshop Elements.

Cannot find symbol class

I use POI-3.11 and I have data class with @DataClass annotation:
import java.util.Date;

public class AttendanceInfo implements Cloneable {

public class AttendanceInfoClasses extends AttuneInfo {

private Date startDate;

public Date getStartDate() {
return startDate;

public void setStartDate(Date startDate) {
this.startDate = startDate;

public Date getEndDate() {
return super.getEndDate();

This class i use in my clone method:
public AttendanceInfo clone(AttendanceInfo attendanceInfo) throws CloneNotSupportedException {
AttendanceInfoClasses attendanceClasses = (AttendanceInfoClasses) attendanceInfo.getClass();
AttendanceInfo newInfo = (AttendanceInfo) attendanceInfo.clone();
return newInfo;

But when I execute this code, I get error:
error: cannot find symbol variable AttendanceInfoClasses

Any ideas?

The class is actually AttendanceInfoClasses, not AttendanceInfo, and the Cloneable interface says:

Returns a deep copy of this clone, meaning that every field (static and non-static) and every non-transient instance field and array component are recursively copied.

So if you want a shallow copy, you need to use something like:
AttendanceInfo newInfo = (AttendanceInfo) attendanceInfo.clone();

If you want a deep copy, you need to use something like:
AttendanceInfo newInfo = (AttendanceInfo) attendanceInfo.clone();

List-like function with comparison

I have several lists:
a = {{a, b}, {c, d}, {e, f}, {g, h}}

What’s New in the Adobe Photoshop 2020?

How can I upload a new image?

Currently, this site works with:

* [docker](

* [Filippo Longo](
* [Michal Papis](

* [Nicolas Dick](

You can add new image type to these. It is pretty straight-forward.

Just create a new file `` at the root folder of your repository.
