Autodesk AutoCAD 24.2 Civil 3D Crack [Mac/Win]

AutoCAD 24.2 Free Download [Win/Mac]

In 2009, the Autodesk, Inc. website stated that AutoCAD is used on more than 22 million computers worldwide.

AutoCAD is primarily used by architects, engineers, drafters, and other designers, to create, edit, analyze, and modify 2D and 3D models in 2D and 3D environments. In addition to being able to import and export vector and raster graphics, AutoCAD can be used as a web application for collaborative design.

AutoCAD was originally developed by DraftSight, Inc., and was then acquired by Autodesk. In 2016, the company was renamed AutoCAD.

AutoCAD 2016 R1 was released on April 8, 2016, which was the first update since October 10, 2013. The most recent update was the release of AutoCAD 2017 in November 2015. AutoCAD 2017 R1 was released in April 2016.

In the following table, major features are described in their abbreviated form of titles, followed by a short description of what the feature does. Features are listed in alphabetical order for easier reference.

1st release (AutoCAD R14)
AutoLISP (AutoCAD’s dynamic scripting language): Create a class library and distribute the code as a script that can be loaded into AutoCAD. The scripting language syntax uses a modified version of BASIC.
Visual LISP (visual control language): Create a series of drawing commands, each consisting of a number of graphical objects called icons that can be placed on the screen at the point of their selection.
Dynamic Tag creation: Create dynamic tags that contain macros that are executed when the tag is activated.
Local variables, a way of defining parameters that are not global (such as viewing or title information)
ObjectARX (C++ class library): ObjectARX is a dynamic object-oriented programming language for AutoCAD that uses an intuitive object-oriented programming language (like C++ but with better type-safety, non-blocking I/O, module support, lambda functions, method overloading, and a simpler syntax). ObjectARX is based on ObjectARX++, which was later known as ObjectARX and is AutoLISP-based.

AutoLISP and Visual LISP are implemented as extensions to the AutoCAD program. Visual LISP requires editing of the main program file.

AutoLISP was a BASIC dialect with some useful extensions for interactive CAD. Its LISP-like syntax has been criticized for its awkwardness and unintuitive semantics. AutoLISP is used as a scripting language that is written into the script file. The LISP expression is evaluated by AutoCAD at the time the script is run.

Visual LISP is a programming language that is more like a graphical programming language. Visual LISP is a series of graphical drawing commands, each consisting of a number of graphical objects called icons. The icons are placed on the screen and can be selected with the mouse or assigned hot keys. A series of commands can be created to perform a desired task. For example, to draw a rectangle, the icon for a rectangle would be created, then selected, moved and rotated.

The scripts can use AutoLISP, which is a macro-based programming language similar to Lisp. The commands are entered in a separate file. This command file is created as an AutoCAD extension and is usually located in the extension section of the startup directory (for example, C:\AutoCAD\

What’s New In?

Automate any aspect of your workflow. Draft a single drawing from more than one source document, or create a multi-part drawing from a single drawing. (video: 2:00 min.)

Withdrawing and Drawing Tools:

Open a drawing in a different location to be able to work on a specific area, such as a particular part of a project, or use it in an operating theater. Withdrawing is the most frequently used tool for reorganizing or relocating a drawing. (video: 1:50 min.)

Multi-object editing:

Mark multiple objects on the same drawing at once with a single selection, or mark objects on drawings in different views at once. Support for multi-object editing was added to the New Design tab in CAD Drawing Software Release 2007. (video: 2:01 min.)

More tools for the New Design tab:

Multi-step importing and editing:

Use the Import/Edit/Organize commands to change and edit multiple individual drawings at once. (video: 1:25 min.)

Reorganize, Schedule, and Playback:

Reorder drawings for projects in one click. Drag drawings in and out of a group, or on a project canvas to be able to organize the order of drawings easily. (video: 2:22 min.)

New drawing views:

Add a new view to an existing drawing, or switch between existing views quickly and easily. (video: 1:50 min.)

Single document multi-user:

Launch drawings in separate panes to work on the same drawing with multiple users. (video: 1:50 min.)

Projects and Organizations:

Create a new organization to organize, classify, and link your drawings in one place. Links to drawings can be created from the organization, allowing drawings to be linked to different views and configurations. (video: 2:11 min.)

Multiple drawing templates:

Create a new drawing template with predefined settings for a particular use. Use one for drawings that typically look the same, such as mechanical or electrical schematics. (video: 1:55 min.)

Overview and enhanced Settings:

Open your drawing with a single click to easily find and display the information you need. Quickly adjust settings and views on drawings. (video: 1:55 min.)
