Inhabitants of the Lands Between often call the Elden Ring a tool that brings great troubles. People who have come to know the Elden Ring have suffered greatly for an unknown reason.
The course of history is intertwined with that of the lands Between. The childhood of the great hero, Tarnished, was infused with the promise of the Elden Ring.
Tarnished, who grew up to be the strongest character in the Lands Between, went to a cave called Pronomis in the eastern continent of a large world.
In there, he met an unknown woman who gave him a scroll and asked him to pass it to the eldest son of the king of an empire in the lands Between.
Tarnished eventually became an empire’s ruler as a hero who killed the evil king. The scroll he was given was a magical item called the Egg of Nobilis and was supposed to give the bearer immense power. It was said that whoever held the Egg of Nobilis would control the Lands Between.
However, the bearer of the Egg of Nobilis will also lose his or her life as long as the item has the intention to explode. The one who holds it with the desire to destroy should first destroy a person he or she holds dear.
Tarnished was told that to hold the Egg of Nobilis, he had to succumb to the evil inside of himself. He managed to hold onto the Egg of Nobilis after completing three trials. The possession of the Egg of Nobilis would allow Tarnished to protect his life, but it would force him to lose his own.
After returning to the city of the eastern continent, he decided to enter the kingdom of the Eastern Empire to find his beloved and make amends with her.
Tarnished, who had taken the Egg of Nobilis in one hand and a large sword in the other, barged into the Imperial Chambers and was embraced by the Queen. The Queen was shocked to see Tarnished and did not recognize him. She asked why he was there. Tarnished said that he came here to tell the Queen something.
